  1. Dear Judy,
I didn’t know David well, but by all accounts he was a first-class mensch. Caskey & I offer our sincere condolences and plan to make a shiva visit.
    Peace, love & good health,
    Marty

  2. Yes, David was certainly a first-class mensch. You have good fortune in finding wonderful partners and terrible pain in losing them too soon. Wendel and I will make shiva call this afternoon.
We send all our love and hope that all around you will help you healt. love, Ruth and Wendel

  3. Judy,

    Sit.
    Feel your breath.
    Be with friends.
    Be alone.
    and yes, cry too.
This is the time for these things.

My thoughts are with you during this time of loss and grief.
I have been thinking about you and David since hearing at the SRI Conference of him being in hospice care. Even though David was just a colleague, it always felt more like he was a cousin. (Maybe it was the MOT thing.) Anyway, early in my association with FAFN he was so generous with his time, care, and perspective for me. And since you and he got together, well you were such a great, sweet, and inspiring couple. How fortunate for each of you–you had 10,000 wonderful moments together I’m quite sure.
Now as you grieve, I am thinking of you and wishing you comfort.

    Sit.
    Feel your breath.
    Be with friends.
    Be alone.
    and yes, cry too.
This is the time for these things.

    warmest regards,
    Eric in Seattle
